Nikki Sinclaire – the smears continue

It is no surprise to learn that Stuart Parr of the Nigel Farage Sycophants 4 UKIP blog continues to smear Nikki Sinclaire on behalf of his boss and the odious Nuttall:

Naughty Nikki

When Nikki Sinclaire had the UKIP whip withdrawn, she was told to stop using the UKIP logo and stop describing herself as a UKIP MEP. As an independent MEP she is not, under any circumstances, allowed to use the UKIP membership list.

So imagine my surprise when I received a letter from the office of Nikki Sinclaire MEP, with a small picture of Nikki on the top standing next to a UKIP logo.

I’m still interested in what Nikki gets up to even though she’s not a UKIP MEP any more but for someone planning to sue the party for allegedly not following correct disciplinary procedures, it seems strange that she would not only ignore the instructions given to her by the party but also break the law (Data Protection Act) by using UKIP membership details without permission and for a purpose other than that for which they were collected.

If she really does intend to get in a pissing contest with the party, I think breaking the law trumps not following internal disciplinary procedures correctly. People in glass houses and all that.

End of article.

We know that Mr Parr is not very bright but can we point out that standing next to a UKIP logo is not the same as ‘using the logo’. And has he forgotten that she is still a UKIP member?

Let us be quite clear on this matter:

UKIP’s NEC did not follow correct disciplinary procedures.

Both Pearson and Farage lied about the reasons for her dismissal.

Pearson claimed that she had fallen out with the voluntary party. That claim has been disproved.

The West Midlands committee passed a vote of confidence in her. This proves that the party did NOT carry out an investigation into the veracity of Pearson’s claim before using it as a basis for her dismissal.

Members of UKIP’s NEC were clearly biased. For instance, Farage attacked Nikki twice on national television!

Membership of the EFD breaches UKIP’s own constitution by supporting racist parties in the EU.

The party is running a smear campaign against her on Bloggers 4 UKIP. A new employee of Farage was also caught out attacking Nikki on the British Democracy Forum.

And it will be very difficult for them to claim that she used personal data illegally as their action to remove the whip was itself clearly illegal.

UKIP PPC and ex-football hooligan

We knew that UKIP was having trouble finding people to stand for them in Wales.

They are now so desperate for candidates that they have even resorted to fielding ex-football hooligans!

We dread to imagine what he thinks about UKIP’s Law and Order policies!

From Wales Online:

Reformed football hooligan to stand for Ukip

A REFORMED football hooligan, who last year got into trouble for posting a sexual innuendo about a woman on trial for murder on an internet message board, has been selected as a Parliamentary candidate by the United Kingdom Independence Party.

Adam Brown, 31, who will be Ukip’s general election candidate in Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney, has already created further controversy by encouraging people to win money by placing a bet on his victory and then voting for him.

Mr Brown, who was elected to Merthyr Council as an Independent in 2008, joined the anti-EU party last year.

Last September he admitted that in 2000 he was banned from every football ground in the UK for three years after being convicted of disorderly conduct after a match between Queen’s Park Rangers and Cardiff City.

At the time he said: “I was young, naive and showing off. I suffered the consequences of my actions, and since then I’ve tried to pay back the community.”

Then last year he was the subject of an internal party investigation after launching a suggestive internet poll on the question: “Amanda Knox? Would yoo…?”

Amanda Knox was at the time on trial for murdering fellow student Meredith Kercher in the house they shared in Perugia, Italy in 2007. She has since been convicted of the crime and jailed for 26 years.

It was established at the time that Mr Brown had used three different aliases to post a variety of controversial messages, including one that advised private landlords not to rent property to people on housing benefit.

Having first denied he had made the postings, Mr Brown later admitted he had done so.

John Bufton, the Ukip MEP for Wales, told the Western Mail that Mr Brown had been reprimanded by the party’s Welsh committee for his “Amanda Knox” posting on the message board of the fans’ website cardiffcity.com.

Nevertheless, Ukip thought it was appropriate to nominate Mr Brown to stand in the general election.

“He was firmly told that his behaviour last year was unacceptable, but people felt he should be allowed to stand for Parliament because he has done a lot of good work in the local community.”

In the latest internet episode involving Mr Brown, someone using the alias Mr Ninian advised readers of the cardiffcity.com message board to place bets on Ukip winning Merthyr at the general election. The posting – made days before Mr Brown’s candidacy was publicly announced – said: “Ukip are 80/1 with Paddy Power to win the Merthyr seat in the next general election.”

After a number of postings from other readers of the message board ridiculing the idea that Ukip could win Merthyr – it is regarded unanimously by political commentators as a safe Labour seat – Mr Ninian insisted that Ukip had a chance, stating: “Well the Government should ban this kind of betting if they are so worried about it. Until they do then this is an opportunity for people.”

When we asked Mr Brown whether he himself was Mr Ninian, he replied: “I learnt my lesson last year and don’t post on internet sites any more. Mr Ninian is a sort of employee and friend.

“He’s entitled to his view about betting, but I think all political betting should be banned because it shouldn’t be allowed to influence the way people vote.”

Despite Mr Brown’s assertion that he would like to see political betting banned, the Western Mail has found evidence that he was arguing differently as recently as March, when he posted a message on a Facebook site under his own name stating: “I’ve texted you on how to make some money this morning.”

The Cardiff City fan whose Facebook site Mr Brown was posting to responded: “I read it, thanks councillor. I’ll take my chances with the Champions and Europa leagues instead.”

Annabelle Fuller is upset

We understand that Annabelle Fuller – Farage’s long term mistress – got rather upset after reading the following comment by ‘Black Dog’ in the Sunday Times:

Naughty: Nigel Farage

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who is trying to oust Speaker John Bercow in Buckingham, recalls a drunken night with a Latvian beauty called Liga in his memoirs.

‘I met her in a pub and accepted her invitation home for a drink. She was sleek and seductive and I will not splutter that after the first bottle I would necessarily have behaved like Sir Galahad.’

Farage is lucky his second wife, Kirsten, is so understanding.

End of quote. To see the original: LINK

We can only assume that Potty Annabelle was disgruntled that Farage had chosen to cheat on his wife with someone other than Ms Fuller. Ms Fuller always likes to get first refusal when it comes to Nigel.

We always knew that Ms Fuller was the jealous type!

And wasn’t it a damn shame that Ms Fuller lost her job with the British Legion? It appears that someone made them aware of certain unsavory facts.

UKIP: Nigel Farage makes an ass of himself on BBC’s HARDTalk

Posted by juniusukip on March 30, 2010

To see the full interview: HARDTalk

It started off so well. Farage looked calm and composed. But then it all started to go badly wrong!

Stephen Sackur tackled Farage over UKIP’s nonsensical tax policies. He pointed out that UKIP wants to cut taxes AND yet at the same time increase spending on defence, pensions, border police and prisons.

The interviewer also quoted the Director of Tax Research in the UK as saying:

‘UKIP’s figures don’t add up’.

Sackur mentioned that UKIP would slash 30-40% of all government budgets.

To do this would result in at least 1.5 million people being made unemployed. The effect on the economy would be disastrous.

And what is UKIP’s answer to this? You tell us. There is no mention in the manifesto of how they would deal with such a massive increase in unemployment.

The interviewer repeatedly asked Farage where he was going to get the money to finance UKIP’s huge public spending commitments. Farage stumbled for an answer and frankly came across as a man without a clue.

Farage was also tackled about his expenses and failure to provide a full audit of his accounts. Farage claimed that his expenses were available on his website. The interviewer pointed out that he had looked on the site and had failed to find them. Again, Farage stumbled for an answer and was exposed as a liar.

The expulsion of John West was mentioned. Mr Sackur read a quote from Mr West in which the former UKIPPER described Farage as ‘conning the party’. Farage became increasingly agitated and tried to change the subject.

Farage’s Von Rompuy outburst in the EU Parliament was also raised. Sackur described it as a ‘childish insult’. Farage desperately tried to defend his actions by claiming that the behaviour of certain MPs in House of Commons or the Australian Parliament was far worse. So that makes it ok?

Farage had well and truly lost it by this point.

UKIP’s relationship with The Northern League was then raised. Sackur pointed out that the NL was a racist and homophobic party. Farage denied it!

So what about this?

Lega Nord

Giancarlo Gentilini, Lega Nord’s deputy mayor of Treviso called in 2007 for the “ethnic cleansing” of homosexuals.” I will immediately give orders to my forces so that they can carry out an ethnic cleansing of faggots,” he told a local television station. “The faggots must go to other cities where they are welcome. Here in Treviso there is no chance for faggots or the like.”

In the same year he taunted Pecoraro Scanio, Italy’s Minister of the Environment and an open bisexual, by saying: “In Gorgo, a woman was raped with a chisel in the back and in the front. I say to Pecoraro Scanio that I want the same thing to happen to his mother and his sister.”

Pro-Federalist Lega Nord – the party’s constitution says that the party will end its political activity when federalism is obtained – are no strangers to racially motivated violence: indeed, MEP Mario Borghezio was fined in 1993 for beating a 12 year old Moroccan child. In 2005, whilst sitting as an MEP, he was found guilty of setting fire to the belongings of immigrants under a railway bridge in Turin, during a vigilante raid. In September 2007 he was arrested by Belgian police for his part in an anti-Islamic demonstration.

The former leader of Lega Nord, Umberto Bossi, an MEP in the last parliament, was convicted of incitement to violence in 1998. He received a one-year suspended prison sentence. He had previously received a conviction for taking a 200 million bribe. In 2003 he described Africans as “Bingo-Bongos”, and suggested that the Italian navy should open fire on boats carrying refugees.

Notorious holocaust denier Father Floriano Abrahamowicz is considered to be the “unofficial Chaplain” of Lega Nord. He told an Italian newspaper: “I know the gas chambers existed… but I don’t know if anyone was killed in them. I know that, in addition to the official version, there is another version…” He has also been a vocal supporter of Erich Priebke, the German SS officer convicted of war crimes for a 1944 massacre in Rome, extradited to Italy from Argentina and currently living under house arrest.

The Lega has its own militant faction, the so-called Green shirts.

The Junius Team must congratulate Mr Sackur for his excellent interview. Farage was made to look a fool. Long may it continue!

UKIP: Greg Lance-Watkins and John West slam Nigel Farage in The Economist

Posted by juniusukip on March 29, 2010

Farage getting a cool reception in Bucks says the Economist.

It is interesting to note that Farage is not getting the welcome that he had expected on the streets of Bucks.

And it seems that Nigel’s old friends – Mr Greg Lance-Watkins and Mr John West were less than impressed after reading that Farage had described himself as ‘Mr Clean’.

From The Economist:

THE shoppers in Buckingham’s modest street market look bemused as a prospective parliamentary candidate, John Stevens, tells them: “You can bring down the speaker of the House of Commons!” Some tell him they will vote for the incumbent, John Bercow, although he did not come out of the parliamentary-expenses scandal with much credit. Most are happy to take the leaflets Mr Stevens proffers. Respect for politicians is not much in evidence in this prosperous market town. “They’re all crooks, but Mr Bercow’s a local man,” says Phillip Dillow. Yet his son, Edward, chips in: “I won’t vote for nobody who steals. If I did that on benefits I’d be in jail by now.”

Mr Bercow, a Conservative, was first elected for the constituency in 1997. He became speaker of the House of Commons last year, when the previous incumbent, Michael Martin, was forced out in the row over parliamentary expenses. In theory his job should be safe: in 2005 he held his seat with 57% of the vote. And neither Labour nor the Liberal Democrats is putting up a candidate. The speaker is, by tradition, elected unopposed.

Instead Mr Bercow faces a fierce, personal and as yet unpredictable fight. Three independent candidates are standing, as are an activist in the British National Party and Nigel Farage, who in the autumn stood down as leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) to concentrate on the tussle in Buckingham. (Junius says: NOT true. Farage stood down after Stuart Wheeler made it quite clear that he would not fund UKIP if Farage remained as leader) Perhaps predictably in this comfortable and overwhelmingly white constituency, all are on the right of the political spectrum.

One reason for the plethora of challengers is that Mr Bercow lacks support within his own party. Only a handful of Conservative MPs voted for him as speaker: one constituent says he was chosen by Labour as a “practical joke”. The feeling that he is a Labour sympathiser has been strengthened by the fact that his wife is standing as a Labour candidate in the local elections in London. The Conservatives’ leader, David Cameron, has threatened to deselect any local activist who openly supports anyone but Mr Bercow. Even so, some well-placed Tory officials and party members are effusive, even if only in private, about Patrick Phillips, a former high sheriff of the county and rival candidate.

Mr Bercow’s role in the expenses scandal has also hurt him. He “flipped” his second-home designation, avoiding capital-gains tax (which he later paid) and had to repay around £1,000 of expenses after a parliamentary investigation. Campaign literature for Mr Stevens, a former Tory MEP who says he was encouraged to stand by George Walden, Mr Bercow’s predecessor in the seat, makes much of the speaker’s complicated expenses. Its other theme is the third cause for unrest in Buckingham: the traditional disenfranchisement of voters in the speaker’s constituency.

Mr Bercow also faces a serious challenge from UKIP’s Mr Farage. A vote for him, Mr Farage says, is a vote for a clean man untainted by Westminster politics:

“There are no big parties to vote for and the speaker who is seeking re-election is the symbol of the current political class.”

But Mr Farage has faced expenses scandals inside his own party, and a recent outburst in the European Parliament has cooled the reception he gets on many of the politer doorsteps in Buckingham.

According to Mr Phillips, Mr Farage recently invited himself round to tea to ask him to stand down, rather than let Mr Bercow win against a split vote. Mr Phillips refused, saying that however angry his Conservative friends might be with Mr Bercow, they “did not want UKIP to establish a beach-head in Buckingham”. He sees the anti-Bercow vote being sliced up between a number of candidates, one of whom could oust the speaker, albeit on a minority of the vote.

Vernon Bogdanor, a professor of government at Oxford University, reckons that Mr Bercow is vulnerable. “The authority of the political class was undermined by the expenses scandal, and the authority of the role of speaker shattered,” he says. He thinks it unfair that voters in the speaker’s constituency are disenfranchised, and proposes that the speaker, once elected, be shunted to a “notional constituency”, triggering a by-election in his original one.

Mr Bercow’s friends, meanwhile, dismiss the disenfranchisement argument, saying that many constituents like the kudos of having the speaker as their MP. They point to their man’s record as speaker in cleaning up Parliament, and comfort themselves that the “anti-Bercow vote is badly split”. If they are wrong, and Buckingham’s constituents oust an incumbent speaker for the first time, it will send a pretty clear message to Westminster that business as usual is over.

End of article.

And now for the comments as published in the online version:

Greg_L-W wrote: A vote for him, Mr Farage says, is a vote for a clean man untainted by Westminster politics.

But Mr Farage has faced expenses scandals inside his own party.

Farage is indeed untainted by Westminster politics! To let such a man loose with Westminster’s expenses system after his EU training would be like putting a wolf in a pen full of lambs!

Farage’s dissembling goes far beyond Political acceptability!

Farage has NEVER published his accounts just some obfuscating outlines.

Farage has NEVER accounted for the £2M he boasted of making.

Farage has NEVER published what happened to over 85% of the income of Ashford which he claimed was THE MOST profitable thing EUkip have ever done.

There is every reason to believe that Farage has been as dishonest about money as he was with 3 stories so far about Liga! £1/4M in Isle of Man deposited in ONE cheque +? Farage took no meaningful action against Tom Wise.

There is not a Westminster politician who does not look squeaky clean in comparison.

As for his Racist, anti Jewish and pro EU membership links just look at the facts!

John West wrote: Farage a clean man? Don’t make me laugh!

He surrounds himself with sycophants who only tell him what he wants to hear.

He refuses to reveal publish his own full EU expenses or allowances, whilst condemning MP’s for their greed.

He refuses to answer concerns about financial misappropriation and widespread corruption within his own Party.

He employs his wife despite promising not to do so when first elected as an MEP.

He boldly condemns the BNP but surrounds himself with extremists in UKIP’s EFD Group.

He refuses to publish the full accounts for UKIP’s former Ashford call centre.

And nor will he answer concerns over the hundreds of thousands of pounds taken from UKIP’s South East regional account, laughingly described by him as ‘other expenses’.

And yet Farage still has the nerve to condemn Bercow for being corrupt!

Farage does everything within his power to ensure that his own profits from being an MEP remain hidden. And this is despite his having promised to do the exact opposite when first elected as an MEP.

In May 2009, ‘The Guardian’ reported that Farage had said in a speech to the Foreign Press Association that as an MEP he had received and spent nearly £2 million of taxpayers’ money in expenses and allowances – and that is on top of his £64,000 a year salary.

And he refused to say where the money went!

John West wrote: And I forgot to mention I used to be in UKIP. These concerns were raised by me and yet were ignored by Farage and UKIP’s NEC.

The recent expulsion of Nikki Sinclaire MEP is also another reason not to support UKIP. She was thrown out by Farage because she was not prepared to sit with fascists in UKIP’s EFD group.

UKIP is corrupt and is certainly not worth a single vote under their current leaders.

Richard E. wrote: “Mr Bercow also faces a serious challenge from UKIP’s Mr Farage. A vote for him, Mr Farage says, is a vote for a clean man untainted by Westminster politics:”

By whatever standard you care to use, this must be one of the most monumentally duplicitous statements ever!

For to describe Nigel Farage as “a clean man” is akin to saying Hitler was a pacifist! LFor let there be no doubt about it, Nigel Farage has more financial skeletons in his cupboard than almost any MP at Westminster; and despite being asked to do so by a string of UKIP Treasurers, and other senior officials, he refuses to explain his financial chicanery – to anyone.

And on a personal level the man is a debauched drunkard, womaniser and serial adulterer.

Attributes that are hardly attributable to a ‘Mr Clean’

asbr01 wrote: Parts of this story illustrate well some of the faults in the UK’s democracy.

The main parties refuse to offer candidates, even though there will be people who would like to vote for these parties. These people are disenfranchised.

Some of the candidates get together in private to discuss whether some should stand down to avoid splitting the opposition to the Speaker. That decreases the choice available to the electors.

The Speaker puts forward no policy except that he wants to go on being the Speaker. That is not a serious electoral platform at all. No one should vote for a person who does not put forward policies that address the nation’s problems.

All this is justified by specious arguments that pay no attention at all to what should be the purpose of an election in a democracy, namely to allow the electors a fair say in who is governing them. The expenses scandal, bad though it is, is not the worst part of UK democracy. The lack of a fair electoral system is. We need a wholescale reform to make sure that the electoral system produces a parliament which reflects the votes of all the people.

UKIP: Stuart Wheeler abandons UKIP to form new party

Posted by juniusukip on March 29, 2010

On March 3rd we mentioned that Stuart Wheeler was becoming increasingly unhappy with Farage and UKIP. See: LINK

He has now abandoned Farage and UKIP to form his own party. See: Trust Party & LINK

The total lack of financial transparency within UKIP was of great concern to him. He was not prepared to continue funding a party that was unable and unwilling to provide even a basic audit of accounts.

Over the last decade millions of pounds have literally ‘vanished’ from UKIP’s accounts.

And the only man who can tell us where the money went is not telling!

1. Farage Allowances – unpublished.

2. UKIP MEP Allowances – unpublished.

3. Farage Expenses – unpublished.

4. Farage’s SE Regional Accounts – £211,000 unaccounted ‘other costs’ – unpublished.

5. Ashford – £1m expenses – unpublished.

6. Signs up for a second secret EU pension.

7. Employed his wife despite pledging not to do so.

And what about ‘Farage Ltd’ and Nigel’s off-shore ‘Trust fund’ in the Isle of Man? Where did he get the money to fund those? See: LINK & LINK

We also understand that Nikki Sinclaire’s disgraceful treatment at the hands of Farage, Nuttall and the NEC also influenced Wheeler’s decision to abandon UKIP.

All UKIPPERS should remember that it was Farage’s dishonesty and arrogance that led to Wheeler’s alienation.

And forget the spin from Farage’s sycophants. To lose your only major donor just five weeks before the General Election is nothing short of a disaster.

And what must UKIP’s MEPs be thinking? Farage knew that Wheeler was going to pull the plug on funding. But did he tell them? The answer is NO. They only found out at the weekend!

Stuart is standing for the Trust Party in Bexhill and Battle. What will the official UKIP candidate in Bexhill have say to that?

UKIP: Nigel Farage prays for salvation as he loses another EFD MEP. He also loses a major backer!

Posted by juniusukip on March 28, 2010

Last week we promised you a major story. Here it is!

Nigel Farage’s EFD (the European Fascists and Dogmatics) group in the European Parliament is struggling.

Having lost one of his own party (with others set to follow) Farage is not looking so good in the eyes of his euro-colleagues.

He has just lost another MEP. No wonder Nigel has started to pray for salvation!

And as for the backer …. wait and see. Monday is the big day for the official statement!

Now back to the MEP.

The chap in question is a true gentleman, and has agreed to help Farage by not announcing his departure until after the British General Election, but Junius can report that French MEP Phillipe de Villiers has now joined forces with Sarkozy, and will leave the EFD to join the ECR. Oh dear, Nigel, have we just given away one of your most sensitive secrets?

The most interesting aspect of this is the fact that Farage has kept this information away from his spineless disciples, the other UKIP MEPs, as they are not deemed important enough to bring into consideration. Farage also knows that they are so gutless, that even if they are deceived, they lack what it takes to stand up to him. He chose his “useful idiots” well.

And so his plan to bring the Dutch Freedom Party into the EFD becomes even more important.

But there is a bit of a problem here.

When Geert Wilders went to Strasbourg to show his film about Islamic extremism to MEPs, he was shunned by Farage, (who behaved very rudely towards him, even refusing to sit at the same table at lunch). The showing of the film was banned by the European Parliament’s Bureau. Minutes of the bureau meeting reveal something rather interesting – the motion to ban the film was tabled by none other than Hans Blokland, a Dutch member of UKIP’s Ind Dem group.

Bureau meetings are highly secretive, and so the Dutch Freedom Party never knew who was behind this move. They know all about it now, Nigel!

Farage is keeping another secret from his MEPs…. hmmmm, we may wait a few days before explaining that one!

UKIP: Nigel Farage & his remaindered novel

Posted by juniusukip on March 26, 2010

We are amused to note a bitter humiliation for Nigel Farage in his bid for literary fame!

His book “Fighting Bull” (or should that be “More Bull?”) was released this week. Generally, after some months, such autobiogs tend to be remaindered, and knocked out cheaply in order to shift left over stock. Sometimes, non-sellers are reduced more quickly to try to stimulate sales.

Rather hilariously, we see that after just 4 days on sale, Amazon has already reduced Farage’s book from £17.99 to £11.89!

More Bull.

This must be a record, but probably not one that any author would wish for.

UKIP: Mark Croucher/UKIP and the Court Judgement against them

Posted by juniusukip on March 26, 2010

We have already published some of the facts behind the Croucher/Nuttall/UKIP attempt to bankrupt Greg Lance-Watkins and thus silence his blog. See: LINK & LINK

That Croucher or Nuttall were too cowardly to attend the court is an established fact.

That this was a UKIP action is also an established fact. The odious Paul ‘Benito’ Nuttall had provided evidence to support Croucher’s copyright ownership of the photos in question. This was done in his capacity as UKIP Chairman.

That the Junius Team is still celebrating Croucher’s humiliating defeat is also an established fact.

The Mark ‘Friar Tuck’ Croucher is putting on weight and has lost even more hair due to stress is also an established fact. But where is UKIP’s leadership when you need them for support? The poor little lad!

His copyright case against the BNP is also pending. At this rate Croucher will be bankrupt within weeks.

We are now pleased to publish the judgement against Croucher/ UKIP in full:

Note of Judgment

His Honour Judge W Gaskell stated that this was an application by the defendant to strike out the claim. He stated that today was the trial date and that the claimant was not in attendance.

The first question which the Judge had to address was whether he could be confident that the claimant was aware of the hearing date.

He stated that the matter had previously been listed for trial on 27th January 2010. This had been vacated and directions were given, including a new trial window. Notice was given on 15th February 2010 stating that the trial had been listed on 18th March 2010.

The Judge had also heard that the defendant’s solicitor had spoken to the claimant the previous Friday and mention was made of today’s hearing date during the call. The Judge stated that an email had also been sent to the claimant setting out the various matters which needed to be resolved prior to the trial.

That email was in the bundle at page 139 and carried the date 15th March 2010.

The Judge had also heard evidence that the claimant was currently active on the internet and clearly there was an overwhelming likelihood that he had access to his emails.

The Judge then set out the background to the claim. He stated that the claimant alleged that monies were due to him in respect of the use of 3 photographs used by the defendant on his internet blog.

The 3 photos were of head and shoulders of UKIP members (IJ later corrected the fact that one of the photos was a full body photograph of Nigel Ferrage).

The first issue was whether the claimant was the owner of the copyright and the photographs. The Judge noted that Mr Croucher would have to overcome the fact that it seemed that the photographs had been taken by him in his capacity as an employee or at least as an agent employed by UKIP.

The Judge then turned to the issue of quantum. If the claimant managed to overcome the issue of appropriate ownership the issue of quantum arises. The Judge noted that the claimant claims £8,000. On the material provided to the Judge, and he noted that he had not heard evidence from the claimant, he stated that it appeared to be grossly excessive.

The Judge referred to the freelance fee guides and specifically to the online prices. The Judge noted that newspapers charge £625 for one year’s use and that business use was £850 for one year.

However, he noted that the use in question was by a not for profit website and stated that he was entitled on the basis of the material before him to conclude that it was highly unlikely that the claimant would achieve anything near that which he claimed. However, the Judge noted that those issues could be put to one side for the moment.

The Judge stated that the fact was that the . claimant had failed to file a pre trial checklist and the filing fee. He had also failed to pay the hearing fee. In accordance with the previous order made on 24th February 2010, the claim should be struck out due to this.

The claimant had now failed to attend Court also.

The Judge stated that he was wholly satisfied that the claimant was aware of proceedings and had failed to take necessary steps in proceedings. He had also failed to attend Court. Had he attended Court and paid the money the Court would have heard the claimant’s claim.

The Judge stated that taking in to consideration the claimant’s breach of procedural requirements and his failure to attend Court and the difficulties he faced in relation to proving liability and quantum, it seemed appropriate to strike out the claim. The Judge therefore struck out the claim.

Having heard submissions by the defendant’s counsel on costs, the Judge ordered the claimant to pay the defendant’s costs assessed at £8,448.50 within 28 days.

UKIP: More UKIPPERS resign

Posted by juniusukip on March 25, 2010

Andrew Moffat joins the BNP

It is interesting to note that UKIP’s leadership were fully aware that Mr Moffat was a former member of the National Front. Despite this, he was welcomed with open arms and was even allowed to stand as a UKIP parliamentary candidate in Beaconsfield.

Various UKIPPERS are now lining up to denounce him as a racist . So what had prevented them from speaking out before? The words ‘stinking’ and ‘hypocrisy’ quickly spring to mind.

It is amusing to note that various BNP members have suggested that Mr Moffatt left UKIP because he was unhappy being associated with Farage’s far-right allies in the EFD! See: LINK

And what happened to Mark Croucher’s vetting via Searchlight? Was the plump one too busy losing copyright actions in court when Moffat first applied to join UKIP?

Here is a report taken from the Chichester Observer:

VOTE: BNP candidate: Let me deliver for good of town

Is this the most controversial person to seek election as the MP for Bognor Regis?

Andrew Moffat is the town’s first British National Party’s general election candidate.

The far right party attracts protests for its policies. Its recent Question Time session in Aldwick with prospective parliamentary candidates attracted the first political demonstration in the area for decades.

Outspoken Mr Moffat, 50, said he was prepared for strong challenges from his opponents in the forthcoming campaign in the Bognor Regis and Littlehampton constituency.

But he said he was willing to take on their policies with some blunt talking. “I am giving people the choice they don’t have with the other parties,” he said. “I am campaigning to halt immigration, deport illegal immigrants and bogus asylum seekers, withdraw from Afghanistan, leave the EU, crack down on crime and restore Christian observance in schools.

“Multiculturalism is being deliberately imposed by Labour and the Liberals and Conservatives to balkanise Britain and erode our cultural heritage, thus facilitating undemocratic EU rule.

“The window is closing. Within 40 years, we shall become a minority in our own ancestral homeland. This is the end game – England is being extinguished.”

He wants a referendum about the reinstatement of the death penalty for serious offenders such as terrorists and child killers whose identity has been proved by DNA.

Mr Moffat, who lives near Pulborough, attacked existing Conservative MP Nick Gibb’s record on expenses. He listed some of Mr Gibb’s tens of thousands of pounds of expenses for his second home for work such as redecoration and repairs and gardening.

“The old political class is loathed,” said Mr Moffat. “Bognor Regis and Littlehampton’s disgraceful Tory MP has been embroiled in the expenses scandal.MPs are grossly overpaid for failing their country. If elected, I shall donate 50 per cent of my Parliamentary salary to local good causes and challenge the other candidates to do likewise.”

Mr Moffat is a veteran of two general election campaigns for UKIP. He first stood in Beaconsfield and then Arundel and South Downs in 2005.

He left because he disagreed with the party’s views.

An international foodstuffs trader, he has spent most of his working career in overseas trade and commerce. He is a keen shot and sportsman and plays rugby.

Nick Bennett

In October UKIP’s leadership was crowing after a Tory councillor joined the Party:

Another District councillor Defects to UKIP !

David Hamilton, treasurer of the North Nottinghamshire branch of UKIP, said he was delighted.

Excellent, yet another Tory who can see sense in leaving the EU.

Sadly, his love affair with UKIP East Midlands did not last long. But we can well understand his desire to distance himself from the likes of Derek Clark and Don Ransome.

After all, would you want to be associated with a man under investigation by OLAF? Would you want to have as your Regional Organiser a man who has been convicted of drink driving? Thought not! See: LINK & LINK

From the Mansfield Chad News:

Councillor leaves UKIP just months after joining

Nick Bennett has announced he is leaving UKIP

MANSFIELD district councillor Nick Bennett has decided to leave the UK Independence Party just months after joining, Chad can reveal.

The former Conservative councillor announced last October he was joining UKIP, along with the chairman of Mansfield Conservative Association at the time, Philip Smith.

A statement from UKIP Parliamentary candidate for Mansfield, David Hamilton, says: “It is always sad to lose a member of the party, particularly for personal reasons, and we understand that he now wants to take a back seat.”

UKIP: Nigel Farage & How to Avoid Tax with an Isle of Man Bank Account

Posted by juniusukip on March 24, 2010

We do wish that Nigel would stop procrastinating and finally come clean about the following:

His MEP expenses, the missing Ashford money, the £200K that ‘vanished’ from UKIP’s South East accounts and the exact purpose of ‘Farage Ltd.’

And what about your off-shore ‘Trust fund’ in the Isle of Man? What is that for? Tax avoidance scams? Surely not money laundering?

Perhaps we should ask Dick Horsnell or Don Ransome? We seem to recall that Dick once stood as a UKIP PPC in Boston. Don was his election agent.

Dick now lives on the Isle of Man. What a coincidence! Nigel went over there the other year. He said that he was on a ‘speaking engagement’. It was rather strange that no record could be found of where Farage spoke.

The Isle of Man is used by individuals and companies across the world as a financial centre. With its policy of low taxation, and its banks renowned for customer privacy, the Isle of Man has long been used as a tax haven by individuals and businesses. While it is increasingly difficult to avoid taxes through offshore banking, it is still possible on the Isle of Man.

Nigel, your campaign in Buckingham will certainly suffer if you don’t come clean. Questions are already being asked about your integrity. We can assure you of that!

Take our advice and get this burden off of your shoulders. Confession is really good for the soul!

One of Nigel’s opponents in Bucks has already been raising a few interesting questions:

Why UKIP is no alternative

Hardly a day goes by without the MP for the Buckingham constituency, John Bercow, facing fresh revelations about his expenses claims.

But in case anyone thinks UKIP offers a real alternative, they don’t!

UKIP MEP Nigel Farage has been accused of claiming a staggering TWO MILLION POUNDS in expenses from the European Parliament on top of his annual £64,000 salary.

Mr Farage admitted to the Foreign Press Association that “It is a vast sum” and added that he had used the “very large sum of taxpayers’ money” to help promote his party’s message… at taxpayers’ expense.

When challenged by The Observer newspaper to justify how he could claim so much while running a campaign attacking Westminster MPs for their own extravagance, Mr Farage was unapologetic, saying that he was “entirely happy” that the taxpayers’ money “had been used for the best of causes“.

Mr Farage, who employs his wife to help run his office and pays her from his allowances, has since been accused of hypocrisy.

Former Europe Minister Denis MacShane has said, “Nigel Farage’s astounding £2m raid on the taxpayer shows he is up there with any other politician, happy to line his pockets with gold“.

Meanwhile two former UKIP MEPs have been jailed for false accounting, money-laundering of EU expenses, and benefit fraud while another UKIP MEP has quit the eurosceptic group in the European Parliament stating, in her resignation letter, that, “My working relationship and trust with EPD co-president Nigel Farage has broken down“.

Nigel, we did warn you! It was a foregone conclusion that another candidate would expose your sickening hypocrisy after you said that you were standing as an anti-sleaze candidate.

For Farage to stand as anti-sleaze is about as convincing as Stalin posing as a champion of democracy!
